Terms & Conditions

The agreement that governs your use of TrueIQ — your subscription, billing, cancellation, and your rights.

Last updated: August 5, 2026

Your subscription in plain terms

  • You are charged $1.00 today for a 7-day trial.
  • Unless you cancel first, the trial converts to a $29.99 per month subscription, charged automatically on day 8 and monthly after that.
  • The subscription renews on its own until you cancel it.
  • You can cancel at any time, in a few clicks, through our Cancellation Portal. No phone call, no email required.
  • Cancelling stops future charges. Your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.

2. Accepting these terms

By using TrueIQ you agree to this agreement and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These terms apply however you reach us — phone, tablet, desktop, or any other device.

2.1 Effective date

This version takes effect on the date shown at the top of the page and replaces any earlier version. Using TrueIQ on or after that date means you accept it. Each version applies to transactions made while it was in force, so a change we make later does not alter a charge you have already agreed to.

2.2 When we change them

We may update this agreement. If a change materially affects your rights or what you pay, we will email registered users at least 15 days before it takes effect, and it will not apply to charges already made. Minor changes take effect when posted, and the date at the top tells you when that was.

If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.

3. What TrueIQ is, and what it is not

TrueIQ is an online cognitive assessment built for education and entertainment. That framing matters, so we want to be direct about it.

3.1 Not a clinical assessment

Our test is not a clinical or professional IQ evaluation. It is not administered or interpreted by a licensed psychologist, it is not equivalent to instruments such as the WAIS or Stanford–Binet, and it has not been independently validated or normed against a standardised population.

Do not use your score for academic placement, employment decisions, medical or psychological purposes, immigration, or membership applications. If you need a clinical assessment, see a licensed professional.

3.2 What can affect your result

Scores move around for reasons that have nothing to do with ability — tiredness, stress, distraction, time of day, screen size, connection speed, and how familiar you are with this style of question. Treat your result as a snapshot taken under particular conditions, not a fixed measure of who you are.

3.3 Your responsibility

You use the service at your own discretion. We make no promise that your score reflects your intelligence, and we are not responsible for decisions you make on the basis of it, or for how you feel about the number.

4. Who can use the service

You must be at least 18, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. By using TrueIQ you confirm that you are.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the associated data. We may ask you to verify your age at any point.

If you are signing up for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these terms.

5. Your account

One account per person. Give us a valid email address and keep it current — it is how we send your certificate, your receipts, and any notice required by this agreement.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since that is how account access works. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

Do not create multiple accounts, share your access with others, give us false information, or attempt to reach parts of the service you have not paid for.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and automatic renewal

6.1 What you are agreeing to pay

When you subscribe, you are charged $1.00 immediately for seven days of access. On day 8, unless you have cancelled, your subscription starts at $29.99 per month and renews automatically each month until you cancel.

By entering your payment details and completing checkout, you authorise us to charge that card or account on this schedule. We show these terms next to the payment button before you pay, and we send them again in your receipt.

Example. You sign up on 1 March. You pay $1.00 that day and have access through 7 March. On 8 March you are charged $29.99, and again on 8 April, 8 May, and so on, until you cancel.

6.2 Currency and taxes

Prices are in US dollars. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay. If your card is issued outside the United States, your bank may add a conversion or foreign transaction fee. That fee is set by your bank, not by us, and we cannot refund it.

6.3 Price changes

We may change subscription pricing. If your rate is going to change, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand, and the new rate will only apply from a renewal date after that notice. You can cancel before then and pay nothing further.

6.4 Payment problems

If a charge fails, we will retry it over the following days and email you. If it has not gone through after 30 days, we will suspend access until the balance is settled. Any fee your bank charges for a declined payment is between you and your bank.

6.5 Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. We never receive your full card number. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

6.6 Renewal reminders

We will email you before your trial converts to a paid subscription. That reminder goes out at least three days before the first $29.99 charge, and it states the amount, the date it will be taken, and a direct link to cancel.

We will also email you before any charge that follows a price increase, at least 30 days in advance, as set out in Section 6.3.

These notices go to the address on your account, which is why Section 5 asks you to keep it current.

6.7 Disputed charges and chargebacks

If you think a charge is wrong, email support@trueiqreport.com first. We can usually resolve billing problems within a day or two, which is faster than a bank dispute.

Raising a chargeback with your bank instead may lead us to suspend or close your account while the dispute is open. Where a chargeback is filed on a charge you authorised and did not cancel, we may present evidence of your consent to the payment processor and may decline to serve the account in future. This does not limit any right you have to dispute a genuinely unauthorised charge.

7. Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like, for any reason, through the Cancellation Portal. It takes a few clicks and requires no phone call, no chat, and no explanation. If you would rather email, write to support@trueiqreport.com and we will process it.

Cancelling stops all future charges. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, then ends. We do not prorate or refund the unused part of a period — see Section 8.

To avoid the $29.99 charge, cancel before your 7-day trial ends. Cancelling on day 8 or later means that month has already been charged.

Cancelling a subscription is not the same as deleting your account. See Section 17 if you want your data removed as well.

8. Refunds

Subscription charges are nonrefundable. Once a monthly payment has been taken, including the first $29.99 charge after your trial, that payment is final. If you write to us we will review it and make a determination, but a review is not a promise of a refund, and the remedy available to you is to cancel so that no further charges are made.

Billing errors are a separate matter and are always put right in full: a charge taken twice for the same period, a charge made after you properly cancelled, an incorrect amount, a payment the cardholder did not authorise, or a service we discontinue after you have paid for it.

8.1 Asking for one

Email support@trueiqreport.com from your account address, and include the date and amount of the charge and a short description of the issue. We aim to reach a decision within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually take 3–5 business days to appear.

8.2 What we normally decline

  • Monthly subscription charges, including the first $29.99 charge taken when a trial ends
  • Unused time after a cancellation
  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal
  • Changing your mind about the result or the service
  • Brief interruptions during maintenance

Our full Refund Policy sets this out in detail and governs where the two differ.

8.3 Your legal rights

Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live, including any statutory right to withdraw from a purchase. If your local law gives you a stronger right than this section, that law wins.

9. Acceptable use

Use TrueIQ for its intended purpose. Do not:

  • Copy, scrape, republish, or resell our questions, content, or certificates
  • Reverse engineer the platform or try to extract its source code
  • Interfere with the service, its security, or other users' access to it
  • Use bots or automated tools to take the test or create accounts
  • Misrepresent a TrueIQ score as a clinical or professional assessment
  • Use the service for anything unlawful

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

10. Our intellectual property

The platform, the test questions, the scoring method, the certificate design, the TrueIQ name and logo, and everything else we produce belong to TrueIQ LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service and your own certificate for your own non-commercial purposes. That licence does not let you modify, distribute, or commercialise our material, and it ends when your account does.

11. Your content

Anything you send us — your answers, your email address, support messages — stays yours. We do not claim ownership of it.

You do give us permission to use it as far as we need to run the service: storing it, processing it to generate your score and certificate, and including it in aggregate, de-identified statistics that cannot be traced back to you. That permission ends when your data is deleted, except for anonymous aggregate figures that no longer identify anyone.

Do not send us content that infringes someone's rights, contains malicious code, or is unlawful.

11.1 Copyright complaints

If you believe material on TrueIQ infringes your copyright, email support@trueiqreport.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice” and include: identification of the work, where the material sits on our site, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorised, a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them, and your signature.

We remove infringing material once a valid notice is received, and we will pass the notice to whoever posted it so they can respond with a counter-notice. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

12. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep TrueIQ available and running properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided as it is. Maintenance, technical faults, and force majeure events can all cause downtime.

We may add, change, or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what your subscription gives you, we will give at least 15 days' notice by email and you may cancel if you do not want to continue. Security fixes, legal compliance changes, and urgent repairs may be made immediately.

We may also discontinue the service entirely. If we do, we will give reasonable notice and refund any period you have paid for but not received.

13. Support

Email support@trueiqreport.com and a person will answer. We aim to reply within one business day; weekends and public holidays may run longer.

If a reply does not resolve things, say so and ask for the matter to be escalated. We will look at it again and respond within 10 business days.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SCORE IS ACCURATE OR MEANINGFUL.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, emotional distress, or reputational harm, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. This applies however the claim is framed — contract, negligence, or otherwise.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. Where that is the case, the parts that are not permitted do not apply to you and the rest still stand, and our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure events as defined in Section 1.

15. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses, including legal fees, arising from claims brought against us because you broke this agreement, misused the service, infringed someone else's rights, or broke the law. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in the defence.

16. Disputes, arbitration, and governing law

16.1 Talk to us first

Before starting any formal proceeding, email support@trueiqreport.com describing the problem and what you want. Most disputes end here. Both sides agree to try to resolve it informally for 30 days.

16.2 Arbitration

If that does not work, disputes will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, in English. Proceedings may be conducted remotely or by written submission. The arbitrator's decision is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.

BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU AND TRUEIQ WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT INDIVIDUALLY.

16.3 What arbitration does not cover

  • Claims that qualify for small claims court, which either of us may bring there instead
  • Claims about intellectual property
  • Requests for emergency injunctive relief

16.4 Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where arbitration does not apply, disputes go to the state or federal courts of Wyoming, and both sides consent to those courts.

If you are a consumer outside the United States, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there.

17. Ending your account

17.1 Cancelling versus deleting

These are different. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your account and results intact until the paid period ends. Deleting removes your account and your data permanently.

17.2 Deleting your account

Email support@trueiqreport.com from your account address to request deletion. Any active subscription is cancelled immediately with no refund for time remaining, your results and history are permanently erased, and you lose access straight away.

Deletion cannot be undone. We may keep limited billing records where tax or accounting law requires it. Requests are completed within 30 days.

17.3 When we close an account

We may suspend or close your account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, fraud, abuse of our staff, chargebacks made in bad faith, or where the law requires it. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

18. General terms and contact

18.1 Electronic communications

By using TrueIQ you agree to receive communications from us by email and through the site, and you accept that those electronic records satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing. This covers receipts, renewal reminders, changes to these terms, and any other notice we are required to give you.

You can withdraw that consent by closing your account. We cannot run a subscription service without being able to reach you electronically, so withdrawing consent while keeping the subscription is not possible.

Notices to us should go to support@trueiqreport.com, or by post to the address below. Formal legal notice must be sent by post.

18.2 Other terms

If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing something immediately does not waive our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under this agreement; we may transfer ours if the business is sold or reorganised.

This agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, is the whole agreement between us about the service. It is written in English; translations are for convenience, and the English version governs if they differ.
